log files

Over the past week my E2k server has been generating huge numbers of =
transaction logs (located in the MDBDATA folder). I changed the default =
policy to delete the logs every day, but they are still bringing my =
system down because of the volume being created. A new log is created =
on average every 9 seconds. I suspect that a virus is involved but can't =
seem to locate any.....Has anyone had this problem? And Does anyone have =
any suggestions about how to eliminate the logs from being created?
