Isn't antigen an anti-virus app and the spam filter or manager is sold
separately?

we're running antigen for exchange, we do get a very small
amount of false positives but overallit's a nice product that can
be hand tweaked.

No ISA. They just upgraded to exchange 2000. I think they'll probably be
opened to it sometime down the line, but not now.

Thanks

you can create a nice filter with ISA if you are running that.
check out the isa site, they have a lot of nice stuff. we are in the
process of doing that right now. we are having problems with spam
taking over our companies mailboxes... it sounds like this option will
work for us, but of course so far there is nothing to totally stop it.

So far I've viewed what feels like at least 50 spam
filter links and I've basically left it at that. The idea of preventing
all spam from entering the network is a good dream but this is starting
point. Like I said a small office with less than 50 users; no need to
break the bank. So something that can be implemented and that simply
works.

                1. You will never prevent all spam from getting to
users inboxes without false positives. Do not let any one tell you
different.
                2. They are both good products, although one has
very loud marketing.
                3. I have trialed GFI, and the included keylists
created a lot of false positives "out of the box."
                4. The war on spam is not simple nor cheap.
                5. Since you only have 25 users, have you thought
about using a 3rd party in what is called E-Mail Gateway service or
Store and Forward service?

Anyone have any points they'd care to share as to why
they'd choose one of these products over the other? The need is to have
a centralized spam filter that prevents any and all spam from making it
to the users inbox. Also don't want to have to sit and add entry after
entry of items to be filtered. GFI wins on the pricing being that I only
have 25 users.
I really would like to know how most feel on this.

                Thanks
