The only way of doing this with Exchange 2000 would be to go into the
group in Active Directory and then go to the Exchange General tab, you
will see a section for "Message Restrictions" what you will need to do
is set it to Only From and then add your users/groups to the list.
The other option is to give it a fake SMTP address as shown in this

If I remove the email address, then I no one will be able to send to it.
You need to have an smtp for internal email. I still want to use the
group internally, I just don't want internet email coming to this group.

All you have to do is delete the e-mail address from it. DLs doesnt need
to have an e-mail address, it works fine without it, at least in MS
