I managed to get it working but what i had to do was copy theme 0 (default
blue) to 6 and rename theme 1 (modified green) to 0.
it seemed to work inspite of the previous steps.

I have customized the owa logon page nicely and funnily enough it seems to
work well with the "olive green" theme. I have looked at forcing this theme on
users.
using the owa admin tool i dont see the preview of any of the themes nor does
it actually apply the one that i want.
I have also used the reg key outlined in doc 2 but still no workie.
