The one "gotcha" we ran into was that you can't have a Public Folder store on the CCR cluster and setup tries to create that as the first thing.  We ended up creating a VM for just the public folders and then going through the setup on the cluster.

Great stuff I will start from there. I have the ISCSI targets setup and created the necessary drives.

Once you get your Iscsi Drivers/RDAC etc setup and working properly take a look at Exchange CCR clustering.  It’s pretty straight forward to setup.  I haven’t done it with Iscsi, but in our IBM SAN environment it works great.

Hi Guys,

Just want to try this out for Proof of Concept. I want to setup 2 exchange 2007 servers clustered using a single ISCSI target as shared storage. If anyone can point me to thr right white papers I would be grateful.

Current environment

Windows 2008 ent  - Hyper-v

Windows 2008 AD

4 VM's  - 1 DC, 2 member servers to act as exchange 2007 cluster

6 GB Ram

120GB OS Partition per VM

1 Openfiler IScsi Box - 500GB

3 * 1GB Nics

Thanks

Patrick
