The issue was resolved after re-mapping the domain controller GPO. Thank
you.

That should fix the issue, I have had much trouble with this before as
one
of my administrators deleted the whole sysvol directory once and I had
to
start from scratch. Technet articals came in very handy :)

I just took a look at my two domain controllers and noticed that I was
getting these two events every 5 minutes. I followed the article you
mentioned. What I did was remove the default domain controller's policy
GPO and then re-add it again. I will have to restart them shortly.
Hopefully this fixes it.

It may be that the GPO cannot be applied to that server for some reason.
See
if you can browse to the sysvol shared folder on the DC. Also check the
DC
if you can and see if you can edit the GPO's in active directory users
and
computers. If that comes up with an error message then you know what the
problem is. -You will need to re-create a new GPO or link back to the
existing one by browsing and then selecting.

This is usually a problem with your server not being able to propogate
GPO's. Sometimes it can be because the link is broken between the actual
GPO
location and the mapping.
