The server that I'm getting this error message on isn't a domain
controller. It's just a member server with E2k on it. How can I verify
that the link is not broken between the location and the mapping?

This is usually a problem with your server not being able to propogate
GPO's. Sometimes it can be because the link is broken between the actual
GPO
location and the mapping.
