1. I have installed exchange 2000 on a member server, I have not done any configuration on the new server. Both servers are being seen in the Administrative group 2. I created two mailboxes on the old server and moved them onto the new server 3. When I send mail from the old_server to the new_server mail is being received by the new_server mailboxes. But from the new to the old mail is not getting to there. 4. Mail between the two new mailboxes is being delivered within new server. Did it by right-clicking the user, exchange tasks, move mailbox. Chose the newly created mailbox store and executed... When the wizard runs, it ends with a task summary that says: 1 errors, 0 successes. In the detailed report, I see the following error: Unable to create the required MAPI profile. Please verify that you have sufficient permissions to write to the MAPISVC.INF file. Well, that is a bit strange, since I am domain admin, and have full exchange admin rights. Also, I am able to create a new mail-enabled user in the newly created mailbox store....????? Beats me. Anyone seen this before?
