You need to just run domainprep on child domain. After that you can
create the mail enabled users on child domain whose mailbox will be on
root domain.

Thanks,

creating mailbox enabled users and mail-enabled users in child domain of
an exchange forest. it is said you need to run domainprep in chid domain
and you can have mail-enabled users though it is not running an exchange
server it self, exchang server is in root domain of the forest, i need
some information about how to do it.because when i run domainprep i
don't
get any exchange related options.
