connecting to Exchange issues

I just installed our first Exchange 2003 in our Windows 2003 domain and the
installation went fine without any errors. I can connect to Exchange using
my credentials either using Outlook 2003 or OWA without any problems but if
I try to connect as a different user a message pops up: 

-in Outlook "The action could not be completed. The name could not be
matched to a name in the address list."

-in OWA a login pops up and after repeated failed logins it gives "Access
Denied" message

I tried the following articles from microsoft: 322313, 286296 and no luck.

The Exchange 2003 with SP2 is installed on Windows 2003 member server with
all the latest patches. There are two DCs and one of them is Global Catalog.
It's a single domain, single Exchange organization.


Any help on resolving this issue would be appreciated.
