Its safe to delete them, if you upgrade to Exchange 2003 SP1 you wont get
badmail anymore, its been disabled by default, you can also use the Badmail
Archive and Deletion Script from:

Subject: [exchangelist] badmail directory

http://www.MSExchange.org

Hi all,

Is it safe to delete all files in the badmail directory, or is there some
"official" way this should be done? If I delete all files in badmail, do I
have to restart exchange or anything else?

Also, is there an automated way to purge badmail files that are more than x
days old?

best regards
Mike
