I have the same problem as Steve except we are using W2K. It was working fine, then we switched to another DSL provider. It now works from some locations and not from others. All users are trying to access from their homes, a mix of Cable, DSL and dial-up. The Dial-ups seem to have more success. The symptoms seem to be the same as Steve is reporting. It displays the logon screen then starts to load and just appears to hang. I spent several days working with Microsoft on this last summer. They first had me turn off WebDAV because they thought some servers may not be passing these packets..... but that did nothing. They still that it was a "packet passing" problem and suggested I use SSL so the packets would be passed without interrogation. Now, maybe I should use SSL but it still should work this way. I still have the problem and any insight would be greatly appreciated. No Proxy servers involved. The all have XP with IE 6 SP1. It's not a firewall issue as I can access it from my home no problem with the same configuration as do others. -----Original Message----- From: SAP [mailto:SAP@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, December 12, 2002 8:21 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Windows XP and OWA http://www.MSExchange.org/ Can you tell more about the exact scenario... does it happen to them all the time... have they tried it from the place where you are using your XP from, are you behind a firewall or something... are they using a proxy server to access internet ... -----Original Message----- From: Steve Goudreau [mailto:sgoudreau@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, December 12, 2002 3:05 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Windows XP and OWA http://www.MSExchange.org/ Quick question for all those out there, has anyone ever had a problem using OWA from an Windows XP Pro box? I have a couple of customers who claim that OWA doesn't load for them, it just hangs after loading a couple items with the obligatory loading.... prompt in the window. I have XP Pro and can not replicate this error nor can I find anything useful on TechNet (what a shock). If anyone has run across just such a scenario please let me know your experience.
