Clark, The error message below looks like it is coming from the recipient domain in Spain. Just to verify, what e-mail address is listed in the From: field of the error message you posted below? My bet is that it is from their domain. If this is the case, their e-mail systems are sending you a message to let you know that you can not send that person e-mails. This has nothing to do with your systems... Evidently, they (Spain) has restrictions on who can send e-mail to that account. Obviously you do not have the permissions so you are getting " You do not have permission to send to this recipient" and "Relaying denied" As a test, send a test e-mail from a hotmail or yahoo account and you should get the same error eventually. Do you know how this can be fixed? My user wants to send email to this person. So Exchange won't let them Relay through SMTP. Only people who are Authenticated with your DC can send email. The other problem maybe if they are using VPN and the connection is open Exchange may think they are trying send mail from a different network.
