Go to existing DC - Active directory users and comuter - Right click on
Domain - Operation Masters. You will find three tabs
RID, PDC, Infrastructure.
Change the roles from the tabs to the other server.

Hi All,
Pl. help me in windows 2000 server,
I couldn't find any document regarding promotion of ADC to DC and demotion
of DC to ADC.
If any knows then pl. send me the solution for same.
This is very urgent because i have to format the existing DC and put new
server as DC.
