Stephen,

Accpac needs to use an account which has already been setup - i.e. Outlook
needs to be configured (and is) for an existing user, and then Accpac sends
through this person (ie if I was running the Accpac process on my machine
the message receieved, would read the sender as Troy Griffiths).

So I pressume that this does not need therefore to specify the outgoing mail
server as this would already be defined within the Outlook client?

Thanks
Troy

Do you have an option within Accpac to specify the outgoing mail server? If
it is using its own mail engine, this IP address will need to be specified.

Post a full header for the message, if this does not fix your problem.

Subject: [exchangelist] Undeliverable Error

Hi,

We are using ACCPAC (a 3rd party finance package) to send out emails which
include the remittance advice as an attachment.

When the email is sent Exchange bounces back a message saying:

Undeliverable

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.....

.....

The following recipients could not be reached:

email address that the message was sent to and a date/time stamp

Unable to deliver the message due to a recipient problem

MSEXCH:MEExchangeIS:DOMAINNAME:SERVERNAME

The email address is valid in all senses - as the same Outlook client can
send a manual email to the address without any problems....When looking at
the actual email sent there appears to be nothing strange or incorrect about
it....

If anyone is able to offer any advice on what might be happening here I
would be more than grateful.

Thanks and Regards

Troy
