Unable to view address list from client to Exchange server

I think all is setup ok on exchange 2k. First one in company of one domain
controller.
I also see my name in the mailbox store under mailboxes but I can't
resolve the name to the Exchange server. I think that this has something
to do with AD but I can't make too many changes as this is live on the
network and I don't want to change things blindly. Any suggestions?
