Pune.( Nasdaq - EGAN ) Hello - (+91 20) 4222812, (+91 20) 4228607, Ext - 132. -----Original Message----- From: Lin Webster [mailto:lwebster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 27, 2002 4:58 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Unable to display the folder message after moving mailbox to different Exchange 5.5 server http://www.MSExchange.org/ Scenario: Exchange 5.5 server with Post SP4 on NT4 SP6 machine. Several users have access to other mailboxes (will refer to these as "specialty mailboxes" in remainder of this message) on another server (same SP's & O/S). Had to move all users off of this server onto a third Exchange 5.5 server (same SP & O/S) in site due to hardware problem. Users able to access own mailbox after move, but unable to access the specialty mailboxes as before. I reset the permissions for each of the mailboxes and folders (Q258958); double-checked location info (Q180090); double-checked EMSMDB32.DLL file on Exchange servers (Q183517) and it was at Post 4 level for Exchange -- although from article I believe that the client itself may need to be modified, but was unable to find anything further about it on Microsoft support site; ran Knowledge Consistency Checker, Consistency Adjuster. Problem does not occur on newly created mailboxes nor on the Public Folders on the "specialty mailbox" server. I am now at the end of my rope. Any recommendations short of throwing it out the window would be greatly appreciated. --- Lin Webster ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: skaushal@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
