Have you called ArcServe support?  Sounds like something they should help

Hi All,
We are using Exchange 2000 Enterprise Edition and using Arc Serve for backup
of Exchange. We had a Public Folder which got deleted accidentally.
We have restored the Public Folder thru our backup. The problem which we are
facing is that the user is not able to see the Public Folder whereas I am
able to view it thru my Login only.

Also when i click on client permission of the restored public folder i get a
error message"The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service could not
find the specific object. ID no: C1041722 Exchange System Manager"

Someone please let me know the resolution for the same as it is going to
cost my job.
