When you send external emails from your remote sites, do you receive NDR error message almost instantly or after 48 hours? Usually if unable to send external emails, it is relevant to DNS or SMTP gateway issues. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Wall [mailto:Chris.Wall@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, 7 February 2003 11:05 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: URGENT! - Need Help Importance: High http://www.MSExchange.org/ This has not made a difference. I have rebooted all servers, but no e-mail can be sent externally from our remote sites. Does anyone have any other ideas? -----Original Message----- From: Periyasamy, Raj [mailto:Raj.Periyasamy@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 4:48 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: URGENT! - Need Help http://www.MSExchange.org/ To Recalculate Routing : Sitename - Configuration - Servers - Servername - Message Transfer Agent - properties , click on Recalculate Routing. If not do so. This may fix your problem. All e-mail has been running fine for the past two months since we split. They are running their own exchange environment and their e-mail addresses have changed so I deleted the Directory Replication Connector with their site then removed the X400 connector to the ESSC. Since breaking the connections, our remote sites are unable to send external mail. They can recieve from outside, but not send. I am currently located where our bridgehead resides and we can send external and internal mail fine. What could be going on? Do I have to run the DS/IS consistency adjuster? We are able to send internal mail with no problems.... Please help or let me know if you need any other information.
