It is possible. Done it many times. As to what you're doing wrong, why
don't you tell us what you've done and what's happening.

Subject: [exchangelist] Two way setup

http://www.MSExchange.org/

My company is running Exchange 5.5 and we have two email servers (primary
and secondary). We would like to reconfigure these servers so that one is
the "inbound" server and the other is the "outbound". Is that possible? If
so what are we doing wrong? As of right now with this setup the messages
never go out, they just hang in the queue.

Please advise
