When you have a mail server in hand, you have to have a secondary mail server in case of your primary mail server (your E2K server) unavailable or down. What secondary mail server does is (your external mail exchanger in this case) if you're primary went offline secondary will temporary hold your incoming mails. Most of the companies use their ISP's mail servers as a secondary mail exchanger. - Hirantha -----Original Message----- From: RajBaby [mailto:baby_rajan@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2003 10:00 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Trying to setup home exchange server http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi all, Iam using a dynamic Ip (dialup) and have exchange server installed on my win2000 domain controller.
