Hello Simon, The SystemMailbox doesn't contain "normal" messges, the mailbox is strictly for internal Exchange routines. So if you don't have a good reason, I advise you do not mess with this mailbox. When that's said, you can access it by following below MS KB: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;253784 Best regards Henrik Walther Http://www.exchange-faq.dk -----Original Message----- From: Simon Bound [mailto:simon.bound@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 1. december 2003 15:13 To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] SystemMailbox http://www.MSExchange.org/ I guess someone has been here before but I have 1258 message in said box. I have NDR's forwarding ok to a valid user so what are these messages (the number is not increasing) and how did they get ther and do I need to worry about it anyway !! ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------
