I had exactly the same problem and removing this did resolve this, prior
to this I had scheduled a reboot everyday at 2am through the UPS to
reduce the excessive usage!

I found actually removing and reinstalling the AntiVirus software solved
my problem w/ Exchange2K & Exchange 5.5
