I do have hands on experience with it. If some one wants an explination of
how it works all they have to do is ask.

Here is what I do:

1. Configure an Exchange archive user/mailbox that copies all incoming and
outgoing e-mail to that account.
2. Configure Exmerge to run daily to create a archive PST from that account.
(I posted the details of how I do this and the associated files I use to
create the daily ini file last year on this list.)
3. Configure ActiveFolders for PST discovery.

Then all you need to do is create policy in ActiveFolders with your search
criteria and have it run. It can either run a report, copy items found to a
public folder on Exchange, forward those items and so forth.
