GFI Mail essentials is really the only way to eliminate spam from reaching your
mail servers. 100 users 500.00! what do you consider expensive when it comes to
securing your network? 40% doesn't sound like a solution. Im not a salesperson.
I am a network consultant who depends on results! GFI has solved these types of
problems in the networks I manage. Don't let any get to your mail servers!

I echo that, best $100 we spent as well... We were fighting a ton of spam each
day through a desktop product and a product on the server. ORF is great,
including the ability to sync with AD so it will block anyone whose name isn't
in the list. When we installed the product it cut off 40% of our email which
was spam, the rest our other product on the server checks the 60% and stops any
that it misses. One of the biggest problems is that a lot of the comacst.net
servers are blocked by one of the blacklists so you have to be careful if you
have a lot of external mail coming from here.

That looks like a nice solution, and cheap.

We purchased ORF (http://www.vamsoft.com). Best $100 we've ever spent.
