Is it necessary to use FBA if you are using HTTPS? I am asking because I just upgraded to 2003 , and OWA takes a good whole minute to load most of the time. Wondering if FBA is a resource hog or not. ( I have tried it with every compression setting.. currently off) -Jason ________________________________ From: Periyasamy, Raj [mailto:Raj.Periyasamy@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, April 29, 2005 2:57 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Soka|OWA 2003 & authentication http://www.MSExchange.org/ Robert, You can use either HTTP or FBA with HTTPS. FBA is the recommended option. HTH. If so, which HTTP authentication method are using with OWA? It seems that if you use a FE server (because you have multiple BE servers), then you have to use FBA.
