Make sure your virus scanning is not looking at Exchange folders per many
readme's. Check what resources Store.exe is taking in Task manager on Exchange
server. Look at DNS issues already advised in another e-mail. Checking WINS
server on PC's may also help. many different places to look. NIC
speed on PC's, cabling issues. What is access like using OWA ?

Subject: [exchangelist] Slow exchange server accesss[Scanned]

I'm running:
Exchange 2003 SP1
Windows 2003 server
Xeon 3.0GHz, 1GB RAM, 36GB x 3 HDD
No of users 40
Function: Mailbox server, DC, GC, DNS
Client Outlook 2000

The performance of the server is very slow from outlook, when user open
outlook it will take around one minute to open the mailbox, it is a new
server I build this server only last week. Users workstation is not the
part of this domain.

Anyone can advice?
