Do you have tracking enabled ? Maybe you can see something there which may show what is going on. Are you using a smart host ? Have you tried using one ? We use EXIM gateways for all external mail and by and large works a treat. If you really cannot find out what is going on, you may have to jack up the logging on your server to see if you can "track" the progress of a message through the various components. You basically need to identify the bottleneck and sort the problem and this might be the only way of doing it. Can you please tell us how your Exchange is connected inside your work place? Ie. Does it connect to ISA 2000 or some other hardware/software firewall before sending and request SMTP requests? Have you run NSLOOKUP to make sure everything is working correctly with your routing? You said your logs are pretty much clear, but pretty much and no errors at all are a big difference to working and not working. So please let us know in details what's going on. This is happening to all my emails I send to different email addresses. Is there anything in Exchange 2000 that I need to set? Anything I should be looking for? Any tweaks? Any thing I can change that will ensure that it leaves the exchange box? Can anyone help?
