Thanks for your response, Danny.

1 - The error log (event viewer if that's what you mean) is pretty clean
2 - Inbound emails are coming in within a minute or two.
3 - I have Norton enterprise edition - its updated with the latest
patches and virus signature files.
4 - As far as I'm concerned, no changes to the Exchange server or the
firewall has been made. I just noticed this last week, never really paid
attention to it before.
5 - The last part you wrote, "Have you tried using your ISP to relay
your email using a smarthost or the like?" How do I do that?

Any other things you may think of?

Are you see any errors in the event log? Non-Delivery reports? Are you
running properly configured and up-to-date anti-virus protection on
your systems including the Exchange server?

What has changed since this started happening? Have you tried using
your ISP to relay your email using a smarthost or the like?

How is incoming and internal email?
