How large is your mailbox? I often find that when I let my mailbox get too large, it gets slow. Remember that the Exchange Server will "read" your whole mailbox into (ram/paging) on the fly, if your too big, it slows down. When I try this in any other folder, it works fine. This delay also occurs when I send a message and when I update my rules. I've also try this on another machine with the same problem. OWA also times out upon logging on. I know this has something to do with MY mailbox on the server. Other users are not experiencing this problem. What could cause this slow down?
