Single DC + E2k Failover

Hi Guys,
In one of my site..there is a single DC with E2k. Can I make any fail over
arrangement for that. I dont like to put any cluster like technology....right
now for the DC part Additional DC is doing its job fine..but how what abt the
mailling service running on it.
How can I keep it up if the single DC goes down...
Any cocept I am not covering ..pls guide me.
