True only if the sender is a SMTP server or if it configured with a e-mail address. In other words, for it to be accepted by a local delivery SMTP server, the copier would have to be configured with a e-mail address, and all that I know of do not have that capability. If you were to look at the header, it will say something like from localhost or machinename or IP, not a valid local e-mail address.
