Did I miss the reason behind not logging out? I can only think of two.

Thanks,
Shawn.

John, you have it backwards. I work for the Federal Government. We get
audited every 3.5 months. We are not ALLOWED to leave any server logged
out.
The one time they caught us with only a few servers, they bit out heads
off.
These are the best IT Auditors in the country. Are you saying that
Microsoft
and the Federal Government are wrong? I think you've been working too
hard
and have forgotten the basics, perhaps, here.

Some thing is really wrong here. In all the reading I have done, best
practice documentation I have read, IT personal I have talked to,
Microsoft
seminars I have attended, Microsoft classes I have taken, Microsoft
tests I
have taken, Microsoft Security team members I have talked to, never has
it
been said that an easy admin mistake is to not have a computer logged
on.
Just the opposite, only be logged on when needed.
