Mail Marshal comes with predefined text censor scripts that can be edited
and tweaked. We've had MM in front of our Exchange box for about 30 days
and it has removed approximately 13,000 pieces of spam - we only have 75
users - I knew there was a problem with the amount of spam coming in, but
I didn't realize it was this excessive. Check their web site, its fairly
detailed on what it can do.

Bret,
Does mail marshal need manual definition of filtered text, or does it
have its own library ? What is your success rate in blocking spams with
mail marshal ?

Regards,

Raj

I see MailEssentials mentioned a lot on this list as well as TrendMicro.
Does anyone have any experience using SurfControl for email filtering?

SPAM: I know this subject has been covered here before, but I really
didn't pay a lot of attention until it became my problem :-)

Anyway, what is the general consensus in blocking SPAM on Exchange 2000?
Any ideas, suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!
