I enabled the SMTP logging in Exchange Transport in ESM and am getting
these two errors all the time in the Application Log. 

 

This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection
#688. The remote host "67.69.144.11", responded to the SMTP command
"xexch50" with "504 Need to authenticate first  ". The full command sent
was "XEXCH50 1028 2  ".  This will probably cause the connection to
fail. 

 

This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection
#687. The remote host "165.212.65.113", responded to the SMTP command
"rcpt" with "551 <izzie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:izzie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
>... User not local  ". The full command sent was "RCPT
TO:<izzie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:izzie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >  ".  This will
probably cause the connection to fail.

 

I am wondering if I should be worrying about this or if it will go away
with time? Thanks
