Ouch... Can't help you directly, but maybe these links may help. They are written for Ex 5.5, but many of the techniques can be transferred over into Windows 2000. The other option is to call MS - they are spendy, but if you can ask a good question (as opposed to "it's broken, help) they are usually very good at giving you an answer. The money you spend on the call to MS will probably be made up in the time you spend trying to figure this out yourself. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/prodt echnol/exchange/support/edrv3p1.asp http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/prodt echnol/exchange/support/edrv3p2.asp Matt -----Original Message----- From: Julie [mailto:Julie.Turner@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2002 8:11 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Restoring Exchange from flat files (?!) http://www.MSExchange.org/ Our exchange server crashed a few days ago, the only backups that get done are flat file backups with the services started (I know, I know - before you say anything not my doing and that will change !) Anyway, Exchange has been rebuilt with the same site name etc. Is there ANY way of getting back the public folders using the pub.edb file that was backed up? I'm not interested in anything else at this stage other than the Public folders Any help would be gratefully received Thanks Julie ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: matt.walkowiak@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
