Subject: [exchangelist] Removing the first exchange 2000 server

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi,
I'd installed exchange 2000 with SP3 on a low end box, now
I've installed exchange server on a high end server and moved all the
mailboxes to the new server. Both the servers are on the same domain.
How do I remove the first server and retain only the new server?

The e-mail alias for all the mailboxes is taking as
username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, If I modify this entry to the new
server say username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx all the messages are bouncing
back.

What do I need to remove the first server ??

Help pls

Thanks in advance.

Gopi Krishna
