Here's what I use in a batch file weekly, It stops stores, defrags, and
reboots. (You don't have to reboot, but I do. There are no users here at
that time...)
cd \
cd Program Files
cd exchsrvr
cd bin
Net Stop "Microsoft Exchange Information Store"
sleep 10
eseutil /d "E:\Admin Sorage Group\Admin Mailbox Store.edb"
eseutil /d "E:\Admin Sorage Group\IS Dept Mail Storage.edb"
eseutil /d "E:\Database\priv1.edb"
eseutil /d "E:\Mailbox 59xxx Storage Group\Mailbox Group Store.edb"
cscript restart.vbs /s exchange /t 10

Hello all, I wanted to ask if there were sample automated
scripts I could run at night to dismount my Information Store and run
eseutil to do an integrity check and just normal compacting or
defragmenting? I have a damaged IS now and have created a 2nd to start
moving accounts to but wanted to test automated maintenance first. Or
does eseutil automatically dismount the IS once you point to the EDB
file you will run maint against? Thank You Jim
