I got this error in my test lab environment. I was not able to figure
out a way to get rid of the Recovery mode. I did not find anything in
the Microsoft KB either. You can try to disable the cache mode, and
restart Outlook. This may fix it. Once Outlook starts normally you can
enable cache mode again. That is what I did.

Last choice may be - Delete and create a new profile.

Subject: [exchangelist] Recovery mode

After rebuilding a users mailbox in Exchange 2003, when the user opens
Outlook 2003, a message says "Exchange is in recovery mode." Does
anyone know how to change it so Exchange runs normally?

Thank you for any help!

- Mike
