Just one storage group would be sufficient. You use the recovery storage group only when you want to restore a storage group to recover a mailbox. And while restoring just redirect the restore to the recovery group. I have 3 regular storage groups configured. I want to create a "Recovery Storage Group". Do I need to make three recovery storage groups (one for each live storage group), or will I just need the one Recovery Storage Group which will take care of all three live storage groups? Currently all storage groups are under 2GB in size but potentially could grow to well beyond that. best regards Mike Salim. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------
