SOLVED!!!!

 

Once I copied the .dll, all distribution lists, mailboxes, public folder
were stamped with SMTP/X400 addresses.

 

This was my RUS all along.

Yes, that's what I've seen happen.  The thing I've seen the most here is
when I've joined E2k into a 5.5 site that had a fax address generator.
The E2k server's public store doesn't get any email addresses, including
SMTP, which is required for normal operations (such as mailing the
public folder hierarchy between servers, etc).

 

Copy the fax DLL to the E2k server, and all is ok.

Like John said via the link he posted, this will generally stop the RUS
from stamping addresses.  All you have to do is copy the dll into the
specified folder.  E2k is still expecting a RightFax address type.
