We used NIC teaming on all our exchange servers and there are no problems as such. There are some issues with overuns and underruns which cause problems but these tend more often than not to be relative to bandwidth. I would recommend teaming NICs Mark Shevill IMG Messaging Deputy Team Leader Shell Information Technology International Limited Rowlandsway, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 5SB, United Kingdom Tel: +44 161 935 7152 Email: Mark.M.Shevill@xxxxxxxxxxxx Internet: http://www.shell.com <http://www.shell.com/> -----Original Message----- From: Alex Decarli [mailto:decarli@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 16 September 2002 19:18 To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RES: Teamed NICs on an Exchange server http://www.MSExchange.org/ I've team (compaq team) working properlly. but I don't have multihomed server. If my subnets don't differ and the NICs are teamed (ALB) with a singular IP address, then is there still an issue to be concerned with (because technically that's not multihomed then, right?). Is there anyone who would care to illuminate my ignorance or reinforce my concerns? Your comments would be appreciated.
