Personally, I don't think 4 CPUs server is worth of money to spend! :-( Instead of one server, I can spend money for at least two servers, then do the load balancing and fault tolerance, which 1 server can't do! What happens if 1 server is down? The other will pick up the load and users don't see much different. It may slow down, but at least users can send/receive mail! ;-) In case of one 4-CPU server, if it's down, there is no mail at all! ;-) Besides, if you have two separate locations, then one 2-CPU at each location will provide users faster service while reducing WAN bandwidth vs. one 4-CPU at one location! ;-) Best, P.S. unless like Shawn said, one has tons of money to spend for two 4-CPU servers to do the load balancing and fault tolerance! :-) Trung Le ----- Original Message ----- From: "C Drawers" <cdrawers@xxxxxxxxx> To: "[ExchangeList]" <exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 27, 2005 6:16 PM Subject: [exchangelist] Re: Why 4 Procs > http://www.MSExchange.org/ > > Thanks for the article.
