What are you trying to solve? Mean time to recovery? Disaster recovery?
The approach is different based on the needs.
How do you protect against Database corruption?

I don't want cluster.
I want a secundary e2k like one domain controller.
There is two domain controllers. When one is down , exist another.
I want the same with exchange

Now , I want to create a secundary exchange 2000 "Mirror".
