check your NIC driver using in that computer, I saw some 3Com NIC can
connect to the network but can't join domain before.

I would just remove it from the domain and then re-add it to the domain. I
am sure it lost its sid and therefore doesnt allow this machine to make the
connection.

The outlook client can :
Ping all other host in my network via IP or via DNS name
Browse all network resources on the server and on the other clients shared
resources Print on network printer
Note that if I configure Outlook with Internet Mail account (not with
Exchange Service) and i connect to Exchange trough IMAP protocol (or POP3)
all goes right !!!

Tanx Nicholas for your help. I haven't WINS on my network, I have only DNS
(Windows 2000). I've tried with IP address too but the connection went wrong

check your WINS sever setting by IPCONFIG /ALL to see what's the different
between the two PCs. type the IP address of the e-mail server in the server
name field to see if you can connect to the server or not.

Hi all,
I've just installed Outlook2000 an a fresh installed computer an a local
network with a fine working domain structure. I have 140 Mailbox enabled
user on the Exchange 2000 server and all client Outlook works fine.
Only 1 (but the client of the big BOSS ... ach !) client doesn't start. I
install the Microsoft Exchange Server service in the client, I type the
server name and the mailbox name but when I try to check the connection the
response is "Unable to connect to the server". If I change the username the
results is the same. If I change computer and type the same username all
goes right. Note that the computer browse the network correctly, open shared
folder on the exchange server and so on .
Have you any ideas ?
