Hi Devin

Any chance of getting a Remote Desktop connection to the machine to have
a look?, if so, just shoot me an email with the details.

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Thank you for verifying that Mark. Yes, that is the exact error I am
seeing.

To answer your questions:

Yes I do have a recipient policy and yes it is set to be responsible for
all mail delivered to the hopianmail.net address.

I do not though have address generation set on this domain.

The only DNS records I have currently set for the domain are the
following 3:

Type: A Host: hopianmail.net Data:
24.18.168.215

Type: CNAME Host: *.hopianmail.net Data: hopianmail.net

Type: MX Host: hopianmail.net Data:
hopianmail.net Priority: 10

I've been working on this since last night and it is really starting to
be a bugger for me.

Thanks!

Devin

Can telnet to it ok, but you don't appear to have it configured
correctly

mail from: markfu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

250 2.1.0 markfu@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx OK

rcpt to: test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Do you have a Recipient Policy for hopianmail.net?, and have you made
sure the checkbox on the Recipient Policy labeled "This Exchange
organization is responsible....." is checked.

Sorry to spam about this but I am having a major issue receiving mail
for domains pointing directly to my server for the MX record. I have
opened port 25 on the router and have pointed it to the server's ip.
Nslookup is telling me the MX record is active and working correctly but
unfortunately I don't have any other means of internet access to test
stuff with

I was hoping someone could telnet into hopianmail.net on port 25 and
verify for me whether they are capable of connecting.

Thank you in advance, and again sorry for spamming concerning this.

Devin
