Question on Circular Logging

Hello Folks,
I have a small confusion now, can anyone tell me the impact of Circular
Logging. As far as I know, circular logging will only affect Message
Tracking logs and it has nothing to do with Transactional Logs, is that
TRUE?
Or it will also do that for Transactional logs??
Can anyone explain to me with some refrence to MS KB.
