[ExchangeList] Public Folder - Distribution Lists

We've recently replaced a Windows NT 4 server with a Windows 2003 SBS Server
... and have one small issue. We had a public folder configured with contacts,
and distribution lists associated with these. The distribution lists don't seem
to work any longer. We had exported the public folder to a pst file and then
imported back into the new server. Is there a better way of doing this, or do
we need to now recreate all of the distribution lists (approx 100 of them)?
