Ok so at this point I need some help.

I've created 3 domains. For the purpose of my
explanation I will call the "Parent Domain (PD)",
"Child Domain1 (CD1)" and "Child Domain2 (CD2)" and
obviously one is a parent the others are child
domains.

The exchange server (enterprise edition) sits in the
PD and is a member of that domain. I've created 2 CD's
under that domain.

So, I've created 2 mail stores (CD1 and CD2). Not sure
if I should have created storage groups here or not.
Created a user in CD1 and added an exchange account
within the mail store for CD1 and given that account
an email addy. I will de the same for users in CD2
aswell.

I logged my machine on as that user into CD1 and tried
to configure outlook. The name doesn't resolve. Now it
seems to me that there's a problem with the user in
CD1 seeing the GAL. I've checked that the account has
read access to the storage group but my knowledge of
exchange is limited.

Am I doing this the wrong way? Will exchange support
two domains like this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Huw
