Preventing additional entries of disclaimers

We are configuring a disclaimer using article "317680" VBScript on E2K3.
Does anyone know if there is a way to prevent the disclaimer from adding
itself to an email which already had a disclaimer?
Scenario:
A disclaimer is added to an email when sent to the internet. You get a reply
from the Internet. Then, you reply to that same email. A second disclaimer
is added !!! and so forth.
I am thinking there must be a way for the script to know that the email has
already been attached with a disclaimer.
